Lightning Tools offer product and SharePoint training

We want to make sure that our customers get the most out of their product purchase. As well as offering outstanding products and technical support, we want to make sure that your users fully understand the product that they purchased, but also the surrounding product knowledge that is required. Therefore we now provide SharePoint Training on all of our products.

We have many customers who purchase Meta Man in order to connect to external data for example, who don’t fully understand how to use Business Connectivity Services including the configuration of Secure Store, Permissions on External Content Types, and the quirks of an External List.

We have therefore designed some online classes that you can opt for if you have purchased or are purchasing a Lightning Tools product. Our classes include:

· SharePoint Permissions and Lightning Tools DeliverPoint (Half Day Class)

· Business Connectivity Services and Meta Man (Half Day Class)

· Configuring Rollups with the Lightning Conductor Web Part (2 hour class)

· Configuring Data Connections and Building Views with the Data Viewer Web Part (2 hour class)

· Building discussion forums with Social Squared (2 hour class)

Lightning Tools is all about providing the tools and web parts that enable you to achieve your goals quickly and efficiently. By providing education around our products, we can help you get up and running with our products and therefore reaching your SharePoint goals even faster.

Attendees will be given ample opportunity within the online classes to ask questions that may be specific to your organizations.

Your class will be led by Brett Lonsdale (MCSD.NET, MCT) who co-founded Lightning Tools. Brett is an experienced SharePoint developer and trainer of Microsoft technologies. Brett has been teaching Microsoft classes since 1997 which include VB6, VB.NET, C#, Microsoft SQL Development and Administration, SharePoint Development and Site Collection Administration since SharePoint 2003. Not to mention all the Lotus Notes training he used to do!

Brett also authored the Developers Guide to SharePoint 2007 Business Data Catalog and SharePoint 2010 Business Connectivity Services.

The training is for as many colleagues as you would like. If you would like to view the outlines, dates and times, please navigate here:
