Today we have posted a new release of BDC Meta Man – this time version 4.0.0.2. The main functionality this release includes is being able to connect to an ODBC data source via an ODBC connection string. We supported DSN names for ODBC before – but now you have a choice. There are a number of smaller enhancements also – such as localizing entity names. Rather than having the entity named as the database table name for your users to select from, in the Entity Management screen you can now localize the entity name:
