New topics and replies via email
Many of our customers look at deploying a Social Squared discussion forum to encourage users away from email. With email people keep information locked away in their inbox, and this means the same questions are asked again and again. Moving discussions to an open environment like a Social Squared forum makes the information available to people when they need it – but we understand that people are familiar with Outlook and it is an application where a lot of people spend a lot of their time.
Social Squared has the ability for users to start topics by sending an email, and also allows users to reply directly topic and post notification. The new topics and posts are sucked into Social Squared by a timer job and applied to the correct forum or topic.

Being able to start topics and add replies through email also allow people to interact with the forum with their iPhones, Blackberry’s and Windows 7 phones while on the move.
