DeliverPoint is a permissions management tool for SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2007. DeliverPoint is fully imbedded into SharePoint allowing Site Collection Administrators and Site Owners to report on permissions against each object as well as Transfer, Copy, and Delete Permissions. DeliverPoint offers detailed reporting on who has permissions to each object within the farm which includes the ability to see how permissions were granted even if they were granted permissions via an Active Directory Group.
Within this version of DeliverPoint 12.5.0.0 and 14.5.0.0 for DeliverPoint 2007 and DeliverPoint 2010 there are many new great features:
- List and List Item broken permission inheritance report
- Report on multiple sibling objects at the same time
- Copy, transfer, and delete permissions against multiple objects concurrently
- Discover Permissions against the Farm, Web Application and Site Collection
As well as new features, we have also improved the error handling of DeliverPoint providing you with more information as to what failed, along with improvements to the Forms Based Authentication and *Claims Based Authentication support.

List and List Item broken permission inheritance report
Many enterprise organizations have thousands of sites within their site collections. With business users being responsible for assigning permissions in many sites, it is impossible to document which objects have inherited permissions vs broken permission inheritance. DeliverPoint now provides you with two separate reports showing clearly which lists and list items have broken inheritance as well as which sub webs have broken inheritance. Below is a example report of all of the Uniquely permissioned lists within a web application.
Report on multiple sibling objects at the same time
We have re-worked the tree view to include a check box for each Web Application, Managed Path, Site Collection, and Site within the Farm. You can now perform operations such as the Copy, Transfer, and Delete Permissions on more that one object at any one time. Simply select the objects, and then choose the operation or report from the shortcut menu. This means Copying, Transferring, and Deleting permissions can be executed more efficiently than before:
Discover Permissions against the Farm, Web Application and Site Collection
Our Discover Permissions report now works on the Farm, Managed Path, Web Application and Site Collection whereas in previous versions of DeliverPoint you were only able to see who had permissions to a specific Web, List, Library, Folder or Item. Notice the report below showing how Phills permissions have been granted through the Developers Domain Group. This report in run against an entire Site Collection.
