A planned enhancement to DeliverPoint includes the ability to bulk assign sensitivity labels to both SharePoint sites and individual content such as documents and folders. This upcoming feature will significantly streamline the process of applying data protection policies across Microsoft 365 environments. Instead of manually applying sensitivity labels one item or site at a time—which can be time-consuming and prone to oversight—administrators and site owners will be able to efficiently label large volumes of content in a single operation. The benefits of bulk assignment include improved consistency in data classification, reduced administrative effort, faster compliance with internal and regulatory standards, and a stronger security posture by ensuring sensitive data is properly labelled and protected across the organization.
