A new feature planned for DeliverPoint will introduce the ability to nominate specific users as DeliverPoint Operators. These operators will be able to run permission reports and manage permissions across selected sites using DeliverPoint, without requiring Full Control or access to the content within those sites. This enhancement supports the principle of least privilege by allowing delegated permission management while maintaining site security. It also enables organizations to assign governance responsibilities to designated personnel, such as compliance officers or IT support staff, without modifying site-level permissions.
