We’re excited to announce upcoming enhancements to Lightning Tools Forms Studio, designed to further empower your automation and form-based solutions in Microsoft 365.
Forms Studio already enables rich automation experiences through Action Buttons, Form Load Actions, and Scheduled or Triggered Actions, which can be combined to form powerful workflows—such as approval mechanisms and task automation.
A key strength of Forms Studio is its ability to integrate with Microsoft 365 apps using Microsoft Graph. For example, you can already create Microsoft Planner Plans and interact with Microsoft Teams as part of your automated workflows.
We’re now expanding this capability with a set of new Microsoft 365 Actions, which will be announced soon. These will significantly extend what your forms and workflows can achieve across Microsoft 365.
In addition, we’re introducing Custom Actions, enabling developers to build and register their own actions for use within Forms Studio. This opens the door for limitless customization and integration with internal systems or third-party applications.
