The Lightning Data Viewer Client Side Web Part that was launched toward the end of 2018 for SharePoint Online Modern Sites. The Data Viewer provides an easy way to connect to SharePoint list data, OData Services, Business Connectivity Services or SQL Azure Databases. Users can easily define views by selecting columns to display, and setting grouping, sorting, filters, conditional formatting, data bars etc. Our latest version which will be launched at the beginning of Q2 also provides a Chart View. This allows our SharePoint Online customers to configure all types of charts which are connected to live data sources and embed them on a page. There is no need to be a Power BI expert, just simply set some properties and you have yourself a responsive modern Chart.

The Data Viewer is really easy! You can use the Lightning Tools Data Viewer Client Side Web Part today to configure a Grid View with Column Formatting and View Formatting on external Data Sources. The Chart features will be along very soon! Learn more about the Data Viewer.
