In order to upgrade the Lightning Conductor SPFx in both SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams, please follow the below steps:
SharePoint Online
- Download the latest version of the Lightning Conductor SPFx from: https://lightningtools.com/download-center/download-info/new-release-lightning-conductor-client-side-web-part-spfx
- Unzip the Lightning Conductor Zip download, and locate the lightning-conductor-cswp.sppkg file.
- Navigate to your SharePoint Online App Catalog (Usually https://[YOURTENANT]/Sites/appcatalog). Or, in the SharePoint Admin Center, go to More features on the left navigation menu, then click Open under Apps.
- Drag the lightning-conductor-cswp.sppkg file into the app catalog, or click Upload to browse for the sppkg file.
- In the modern Manage Apps interface, you will see a message that a file with this name already exists. Click on Replace to perform the upgrade. Click on Enable App in the side panel that will open (if you are making the Lightning Conductor available to all sites on your tenant). On the next screen, click Go to API access page to check whether there are new Microsoft Graph API permissions to be granted with this update. (NOTE: You must be a Global Admin or have Application Admin rights to grant the API permissions.)
- The Lightning Conductor will now be updated to the latest version.
SharePoint 2019
- Download the latest version of the Lightning Conductor SPFx from: https://lightningtools.com/download-center/download-info/new-release-lightning-conductor-client-side-web-part-spfx
- Unzip the Lightning Conductor Zip download, and locate the lightning-conductor-cswp.sppkg file from the SP2019 folder.
- Navigate to your SharePoint 2019 App Catalog (Usually https://[YOURDOMAIN/Sites/appcatalog)
- Drag the lightning-conductor-cswp.sppkg file into the appcatalog
- The Lightning Conductor will now be updated to the latest version.
- Run LTDeploy to copy the resource files to your SharePoint environment.
- Select the Web Application that you wish to deploy to.
